Julia Tomalka works in climate research and studied American Studies, Global Studies and Urban Geography. Inspired by her father, who meticulously documented her childhood, she has pursued photography since her youth. Recently, she has focused on analogue black-and-white photography, using reflections and transparent materials to capture everyday moments.
